This seminar series explores how the Bible can be read and understood as a coherent, God‑given message rather than a collection of disconnected passages. Drawing on long‑held Christadelphian Bible‑reading principles, the sessions focus on:
Reading the Bible in context — understanding why passages were written and to whom
Letting Scripture explain Scripture — comparing passages to build consistent teaching
Recognising key themes — such as God’s purpose with the earth, the promise to Abraham, and the life and mission of Jesus Christ
Understanding Bible language — including figures of speech, prophecy, and symbolism
Avoiding common misunderstandings — caused by tradition, assumptions, or isolated verses
The series is suitable for both new readers and those wanting to deepen their Bible understanding. No prior theological training is required—only a willingness to read the Bible carefully and thoughtfully.
Learn to Read the Bible Effectively aims to equip attendees with lasting skills that build confidence in personal Bible study and reveal the harmony, relevance, and hope of God’s Word.
